A 65ª edição do Grammy Awards, a principal premiação da indústria musical, entrou para a história com um feito de Beyoncé. A norte-americana se tornou a maior vencedora do Grammy de todos os tempos, chegando a 32 prêmios, superando a marca do maestro Georg Solti, que tinha 31.

Apesar de ter se tornado a maior vencedora da história da premiação, a Queen B não levou para casa um dos principais prêmios da noite, o de Álbum do Ano. O troféu foi para o britânico Harry Styles, com o CD ‘Harry’s House’.

A noite ainda foi marcada por grandes surpresas, e uma decepção para os brasileiros que acompanhavam e faziam torcida por Anitta, indicada na categoria Artista Revelação. A funkeira perdeu o gramofone para a cantora de jazz norte-americana Samara Joy.
A marca brasileira foi feita pelo grupo Boca Livre, que ganhou o prêmio de melhor álbum de pop latino, com “Pasieros”, ao lado de Ruben Bladés. Ainda teve emoção com a lembrança de Erasmo Carlos e Gal Costa, que foram homenageados pela premiação durante um tributo aos músicos que faleceram nos últimos meses.
